Accounts Administrator

Our Client is seeking an Accounts Administrator for their office based in Co. Mayo

This position is a combination of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable along with some other accounts administration

Duties:

  • Review and verify invoices and payment requests
  • Enter, match and upload invoices into system
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
  • Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions
  • Prepare analysis of accounts
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
  • Maintain supplier files
  • Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
  • Produce monthly reports
  • Provide supporting documentation for audits
  • Telephone / email debtors for overdue accounts
  • Prepare lodgements for all receivables
  • Prepare monthly debtors control account
  • Liaise with finance company and credit insurers
  • Complete all H&S as required

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a similar role
  • Construction knowledge would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable and H&S
  • Organizing and prioritizing
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confidentiality
  • Communication skills
  • Team work
