Overview

 Our client is looking for an Accountant to lead their finance department, in Co. Mayo.

You with work with a qualified accountant and two accounts assistants.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements to include P&L report, debtors and creditors report, and cash flow forecast.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Cost analysis
  • Lead a finance team comprising of a qualified accountant and two accounts assistants.
  • Implement best practice and process improvement

Key Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years’ experience in a similar industry
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • Strong IT experience including comprehensive knowledge of Excel.
  • Analytical mindset
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Excellent work ethic
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
