Architectural Technologist

Our client, who work exclusively in the MedTech/Pharma industry seek to appoint graduate and experienced Architectural Technologists to join our growing team to assist in the design, management and delivery of projects.


We work closely with staff to provide opportunities for learning including exposure to all aspects of project design and management in a friendly and supportive environment. We achieve this by aligning your personal development with that of our practice where opportunities for site experience sits hand in hand with design support responsibilities. Staff are consulted quarterly on their development and encouraged to work on the learnings of the previous quarter.

The Role:

  • Manage and organise the preparation of comprehensive drawing packages
  • Effectively communicate with consultants, specialist suppliers and Local Authority/Statutory Bodies
  • Compile technical information for use in the planning and design of projects
  • Prepare applications for approval by regulatory bodies
  • Develop specifications for tender and construction work
  • Visit sites to check on progress and inspect work
  • Draw up a project brief and programme of work
  • Assist in the development of tender documentation


  • Degree in Architectural Technology
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current building regulations
  • Design/architectural awareness with detailing knowledge in construction methodologies
  • Proficient in Revit design software
  • Have excellent communications, and interpersonal skills
