Reporting to the Managing Director, the person will be responsible for implementing a stock module in the business. Other responsibilities include product costing, management of customer pricing, bill of material management, creditors, labour cost reporting, stock valuation. They will also work with the Managing Director on purchasing. There will be other financial reporting/ returns such as VAT in the brief.
As well as a qualification as a cost and management accountant, the ideal candidate should have
– at least 3 years experience working as an accountant, preferably in manufacturing
– excellent communication skills
– experience managing people
-the ability to contribute to the growth of the business.
