Overview

The Commercial Product Supply (CPS) HR Director – East or West develops the CPS East or West Integrated People Plan and ensures alignment with the strategic plans of the organization. Advises Plant General Managers on the implications of short and long-term decisions, strategies, and large-scale change efforts that will yield sustainable business results. Monitors and leverages performance results and recommends improvement opportunities. Partners with Local HRM´s and CPS Capability Director to develop policies, programs, tools and provides timely feedback to CPS Leadership Team, Plant GM’s on effectiveness and value to the business.

Change

  • Initiates and sustains continuous dialogue with Plant GM´s and Local HRM´s on both internal and external change issues and opportunities. Develops change plans and implementation strategies.
  • Designs large-scale, multi-functional intervention tools and processes that will promote action against identified business opportunities.
  • Implements and customizes CPS initiated HR plans, programs, processes, and tools to ensure Plants needs are met while remaining compliant with policy.

Talent

  • Aligns talent strategies around identified needs and gaps. Coaches business managers on selection tools and “best fit” while adapting existing talent sources to meet unique business requirements.
  • Develops and implements HR plans, programs, and tools with CPS Capability Director to build and enhance organizational capability.
  • Collaborates with bottler partners on system alignment, talent management, and labour/social responsibility issues.

Other

  • Will be responsible for leading the culture transformation in the region, based on the new CPS Operating Model and the Leadership Definition.
  • Will provide key support and technical expertise on employee relations / industrial issues and will ensure appropriate resolution of all Ethics and Compliance complaints.
  • Will support the CPS HR Director / CPS Operations Director and will work closely with the HRD for the other region as well as the CPS Capability Director.

Prioritized Responsibilities

  • Develops the region integrated people plan and ensures alignment with the strategic plans of the organization. Advises Plant GM´s on the implications of short and long-term decisions, strategies, and large-scale change efforts that will yield sustainable business results.
  • Partner with leaders to do organization design and capability planning.
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to identify staffing requirements needed to meet the goals and objectives of the organization; works with business leaders to participate in activities to promote the hiring and retention of a qualified and diverse workforce
  • Facilitate, participate in and develop action plans arising out of the company’s talent management process
  • Partner with leaders to establish proactive employee culture and communications initiatives, such as Listening Sessions, Town Hall Meetings, leadership assimilations etc.
  • Partners with Local HRM´s and CPS Capability Director to develop policies, programs, tools and provide timely feedback to CPS LT, Plant GM on effectiveness and value to the business.
  • Implements and customizes CPS initiated HR plans, programs, processes, and tools to ensure Plants needs are met while remaining compliant with policy.
  • Support key programs and initiatives to maintain and further enhance the level of employee engagement in each plant

Experience, Skills and Education Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Human Resources or related field or relevant experience required; post graduate degree in related field or MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, in a manufacturing environment experience in relevant geography required
